Current

Manager of a small team consisting of four employees who are responsible for over 20+ office
and co-locations including the Global World Headquarters in New York City.  Responsible for
provisioning, supporting, designing, and deploying new WAN/LAN/WLAN technologies. Currently
escalation point for all North American, Philippine, and European network issues and design
discussions.

    Sr. Network Engineer (2002 – 2007)

Responsible for the design and deployment of all North American and Philippine locations as well
as the initial design of the Global WAN infrastructure.    Support a converged Voice/Data network
where 80% of DS3 WAN traffic is g729 voice calls.  This includes QoS considerations, WAN
monitoring, support and provisioning of new links.  Documented new site design and help to
educate the team on new technologies from Cisco.

 System Administrator, Level II (1999 – 2002)

One of the lead technicians during the design and development of new call center builds.  Worked
with architects to design the computer server rooms with regards to sizing, location, and layout of
equipment.  Managed the Microsoft Exchange 5.5 server environment and grew it from a single
site design to a global design.  Other responsibilities included the maintenance of the Microsoft
Windows operating systems including NT and 2000; Microsoft SQL 6.5, 7.0 and 2000; and Microsoft
Proxy servers.  Specified, deployed, and maintained Network Associates SnifferPro remote
network sniffers for support and troubleshooting. Server hardware supported included IBM
Netfinity, ALR, and Dell branded servers.  Migrated the network from 3Com Netbuilder routers to
Cisco 2600 and 7200 router for increase reliability and help design the standard for the
configurations.  Lead a project to replace all the 3Com hubs in the network with Cisco Catalyst
6509 core switches and Cisco 2900 series Catalyst switches.  Was promoted to Network Engineer
after the organization grew to a point when separate duties where required to support the
organization.

Duties included the support of end-user issues in a network that was made of up small remote
offices. I was responsible for the SCO Unix and Citrix server environment in regards to all support
issues, installations and upgrades of software for the organization, and migrated the company
from a non-internet based e-mail system to a Microsoft Exchange 5.5 server environment.  This
upgrade increased the productivity of the remote locations by 10 fold as they where now able to
send attachments throughout the organization and to also communicate with outside companies in
a more efficient manner. Deployed a VPN solution for remote dispatchers to enable them to work
from home, and also allowed the Executive staff greater access to their information when they
where traveling.
